Karen Elliott has proven to be a leader in the business of selling real estate and doesn't limit herself in how she can help her clients. Selling real estate in just about every corner of the Greater Birmingham area and beyond, Karen finds herself often assisting buyers and sellers moving from one side of the city to the other. "Because Birmingham offers such a wide range of affordable housing and great neighborhoods and schools, I often find families willing to relocate to new areas within the city or out to the suburbs, and therefore find it unnecessary to specialize in selling homes in only one particular area of town. I love helping families gather information about schools, churches, and recreation for their location of interest and, as a Realtor, I've learned to appreciate all that this great city has to offer."
Karen was born and raised in Birmingham and moved away to Atlanta as a young college graduate to gain new life experiences. "Although I loved the hustle and bustle of living in a larger city, I always felt that Birmingham was 'home'." She moved back to Birmingham with her husband in 2002 and shortly thereafter began selling real estate as a career. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Alabama Association of Realtors, the Birmingham Association of Realtors, and the Bessemer Board of Realtors. "I think my favorite part about being a real estate salesperson is when I get the opportunity to work with a first-time homebuyer. I remember what it felt like to be a first-time homebuyer, so I pride myself on being patient, informative, and helpful to all of my clients, so that they have a wonderful experience in purchasing a home. I think that most buyers find that it is a much easier process than they expected."
Karen is a wife and mother and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, volunteering in the community, and attending church at Bellview Baptist Church in McCalla.
